Training Clinics

Players will learn to repeat their delivery; work on proper mechanics to avoid injury; throwing programs to increase velocity; learn to locate the fastball using 2 seam and 4 seam as well as off speed pitches for the older players. The players will get an understanding of the strike zone as well as work on fielding their position and controlling the running game.

Hitting Session: Player will work on the mechanics of a proper swing including balance, load and weight transfer. These sessions will be specific towards the player’s ability from beginners to advanced players. More advanced hitter’s will learn about pitch recognition as well as the importance of hitting the ball to all fields.

InFielding Sessions: Players will work on pre-pitch preparation, proper footwork for infield. Infielders will work on double plays and charging slow rollers. Players in this session will work on quick release and accurate throws as well as the importance of ball transfer and cross-over step. Another focus of this session will be to work on proper throwing mechanics to eliminate arm injuries as well as increase arm strength and accuracy.

Professional instructors will guide players through a wide range of baseball skills including but not limited to: proper throwing technique, the mechanics of a swing, fielding groundballs, catching fly balls and proper base running methods. Sliding practice, full infield practice, batting practice, wiffle ball games and fielding competitions highlight some of the enjoyable activities that take place within this session. Our All Skills session allows players to improve their entire game and further develops them as an all around baseball player.
